Expository Preaching & Disciple Making

In one of the most "unchurched" and "dechurched" places in America, God has rooted Christ Community Church since 1952. With an unashamed, missional mindset, we are a church commissioned to take the saving message of the gospel to Silicon Valley (Rom. 1:16, 10:15) and a covenant community that builds one another up in love and holiness. By God's sovereign grace, we do this by:

  • Preaching verse-by-verse through whole books of the Bible, believing that "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness" (2 Tim. 3:16). 
  • Praying together for the advancement of God's Kingdom and the sanctification of His church
  • Making disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching our members to observe all that God has commanded us, trusting that Christ is with us to the end of the age (Matt. 28:19-20).
  • Devoting ourselves to "the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers" on the Lord's Day and in homes throughout the week (Acts 2:42).

At CCC we strive to live in joyful obedience to God's holy and unchanging word.  In a city captivated by the idols of materialism, pluralism, relativism, and man-centered religion, we seek to be a city on a hill, shining the glorious light of Christ into the darkness and calling God's people to join us in reverent worship.  In submission to Ephesians 4:12, we "equip the saints for the work of ministry" and train them to apply the full counsel of God's Word to every sphere of life.
