From the Pastor
Jesus said, “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed
you to go and bear fruit-fruit that will last” (John 15:16).
Our desire at Camden Avenue Baptist Church is to be faithful to the
calling of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We believe the Bible
is the inspired Word of God and, with great care, we labor to align
our lives and our ministries with His guiding light. Rather than
tickling ears with vain platitudes, we attempt, by the power of the
Holy Spirit, to preach and teach the Word of God faithfully. We are
not striving to emulate any particular worship style, but rather
pursue the face of God and worship Him in “spirit and truth.”
We are a family that displays the love of Christ in our daily lives.
We truly care about each other’s needs and desire to grow closer to
each other as we grow closer to God. The Spirit of God has blessed
this church for many years. It is our desire to see God move in
miraculous ways through the body at CABC and use us to minister to
the people in the Cambrian Park Community.
Sharing the Good News to a lost world is our mission. Meeting the
physical and spiritual needs of our community is our desire. Growing
together in Christ and glorifying His name is our end and aim. If
