Dear Santa Clara University Student,
As a alumn from Santa Clara University I know the many struggles that can take place. There seems to be a never-ending list of items that demand your attention (studies, friends, work, sports). Being at school and often away from your home church, it is too easy for your relationship with God to become an after-thought. This is why it is so important to find a church that you can call home while you are in college.
God created the church for us and not us for the church. In the church, as members of the body of Christ, we can actually see who we are (1 Corinthians 12). The church also makes us stronger believers as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17) and as three strands are stronger than one (Ecclesiastes 4:12).
I would like to personally invite you to visit my church. Camden Avenue Baptist Church is small and intimate bible believing church. Our Pastor has been truly blessed with the gift of teaching and pastoring. If you get a chance, check out some of his sermons. To make it easy for you to visit, we will be offering rides to and from the campus on Sunday morning. Just sign up.
God tells us in Matthew 6:33 that if we seek first His kingdom and His righteousness all that we need will be given to us. I pray that regardless of which church you attend this year, you will seek His kingdom and His righteousness.
